Thank the deity that Jack Murtha-recently re-elected, wants to billet the Gitmo Boys in his district. The thanks is due to the fact that I live in Hempfield Township which is not in Murtha's district.

Point two:
In his interview with Sean Hannity this evening, Rush Limbaugh made the point that establishment conservatives cannot stand the declasse conservatives who do such uncouth things as watch or, shudder, worse, attend NASCAR events. This was George HW Bush's problem. He simply couldn't understand what those people wanted. George Bush could not understand the visceral reaction of, again, those people to the perceived threat of millions of illegal immigrants to our AMERICAN culture for which many of their sons had given "the last full measure of devotion."
So those people like Christopher Buckley and Peggy Noonan do not leave the movement. They say that the members of the movement who do not play golf at private country club-well the Ted Knights rather than the Rodney Dangerfields of the world- are outside the pale and are not "true" conservatives.

So much for my ire.
